Welcome
Whether this is your first time seeking therapy or you’ve been on this journey before, I know that taking this step can feel daunting. By being here, you’ve already made an important move toward healing, growth, and self-understanding.
You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck in familiar patterns, disconnected from yourself or others, or simply tired of carrying so much on your own. Perhaps you’re navigating grief, relationship strain, anxiety, identity questions, or a life transition that has unsettled you. Whatever has brought you here, you don’t have to face it alone.
Therapy is a deeply personal process - one that gently invites you to explore thoughts, emotions, and experiences that may have remained unspoken. It is a space where you can slow down, feel seen and heard, and begin to make sense of what has felt confusing or heavy.
Before we begin, I’d love for you to get a sense of who I am and how I work. Finding the right therapist is an important part of this process, and it matters that you feel safe and understood.
If what you’ve read here resonates with you, I invite you to reach out for an initial conversation. Taking that first step can feel vulnerable - but it may also be the beginning of meaningful change.
I’m so glad you’re here, and I look forward to hearing from you.
“Therapy is a way to connect with your inner wisdom and find your own path to healing.” - Bessel Van der Kolk
My approach
I am a registered psychotherapist offering a safe, compassionate space for healing and self-discovery. My approach integrates Western therapeutic frameworks and Pasifika perspectives, honouring the interconnectedness of culture, family, and relationships.
Working relationally and psychodynamically, we gently explore how past experiences — especially within close relationships — may be shaping your present. Many of the patterns we carry were once protective; in therapy, we seek to understand them with care rather than judgment.
For those impacted by trauma or relational harm, our work moves at a pace that feels steady and safe. Healing begins with not having to carry it alone.
If you feel ready to begin — or simply curious about what therapy might offer — I invite you to reach out for an initial conversation.
“Courage doesn’t happen when you have all the answers. It happens when you are ready to face the questions you have been avoiding your whole life” - Shannon L Alder
